Triple Group has grown to become the knowledge and network centre for greenhousing farming chains.The Management Board consists of Marcel van der Zwan, Marcel Eek and Maarten Veldman.

Distinctive capability of Triple Group is the practical and multi disciplinary approach. To meet the best solution for the clients case the team applies her own knowledge and experience and if valuable any other relations out of the network are involved.

Triple Group forerunner was established in 2006: Triple Consultancy. Three entrepreneurs with backgrounds in agriculture and horticulture – Eric in ‘t Veld, Kees de Wit and Hans Vis – joined forces and set up a consultancy firm for logistics, finance and area development. Shortly after setting up business (in spring 2007), this team was strengthened when Arie Kruithof joined the firm.

In practice, the company turned out to be more so an entrepreneur among entrepreneurs than a consultancy firm. This was the reason for changing the name from Triple Consultancy to the Triple Group (2016), which better reflects the nature of the business.

Arie Kruithof and Eric in ‘t Veld are now minority stakeholders. Hans Vis is no longer shareholder, but he is still closely involved in the company.

Due to death Triple Group in June 2017 unfortunately said farewell to co-founder and inspirator Kees de Wit.

Vision

The greenhouse farming sector is dynamic, whereby scaling-up, internationalisation and professionalisation of companies have gone hand in hand with restructuring and redundancies for years now. Triple can demonstrate its viability within this dynamic by ‘being an entrepreneur among entrepreneurs’; formulating a long-term strategy together and realising this in close partnership.
